PARTICIPATION OF NNIUZ IN THE OPEN CHAMPIONSHIP OF ZDOLBUNIV YOUTH SPORTS SCHOOL IN KICKBOXING WAKO AMONG CHILDREN, YOUTHS, AND JUNIORS
On April 4, an open championship of the Zdolbuniv Youth Sports School in WAKO kickboxing among children, youths, and juniors took place in the city of Zdolbuniv. The competition brought together over 300 participants from different corners of Ukraine: Kyiv, Lviv, Zhytomyr, Ivano-Frankivsk, Kremenets, Netishyn, Donetsk region, and leading sports clubs from the city of Rivne.
A particular source of pride is the fact that the judging panel for such a high-level competition was led and formed by representatives of our institute.
The chief judge of the competition was Iryna Oleksiyivna Orel – a senior lecturer at the Department of Theory and Methods of Physical Education (TMPE) of NUWGP, an international category judge. Her many years of experience and professionalism guaranteed objectivity and adherence to high international standards.
The judging panel also included experienced professionals and talented students from the Institute of Physical Education:
- Volodymyr Serhiyovych Starykov – senior lecturer at the Department of Theory and Methods of Physical Education, international category judge;
- Oleksandr Ivanovych Nikolenko – senior lecturer at the Department of Therapy and Rehabilitation (TR), II category judge;
- Inna Mykhailivna Nikolenko – senior lecturer at the Department of Therapy and Rehabilitation, II category judge;
- Ilona Yurivna Symonovych – a student of group TR-11, I category judge;
- Sofia Ruslanivna Pashko – a student of group FTE-41, III category judge.
In addition to the successful conduct of the tournament, a pleasant event was the recognition of Iryna Orel. She received an honorary certificate for her significant contribution to the development of the judging community in Rivne region. This further confirms the leadership positions of the lecturers of the Institute of Physical Education in building the sports infrastructure of the region.
The participation of our lecturers and students in events of such scale demonstrates not only a high level of professional training but also the active integration of the academic community into the practical sphere of physical culture and sports.
