At the Educational and Scientific Institute of Health Care, academic staff and students participated in a seminar on fascial kinesiotherapy.
During the seminar, participants developed palpatory sensitivity necessary for accurate myofascial testing. Unlike traditional kinesiotherapy, the training process included constant monitoring of the myofascial tone of tissues, allowing for a more precise assessment of the patient's condition and making the therapy more individualized and focused on the person's needs.
Particular attention was given to studying the method of post-isometric relaxation as an effective approach to kinesiotherapy. Participants examined the mechanisms of its influence on reducing muscle tension, improving tissue mobility, and enhancing the effectiveness of the rehabilitation process. The practical part of the seminar provided an opportunity to reinforce theoretical knowledge and improve professional skills necessary for work in therapy and rehabilitation.
