The 'Week of Dreams' and the Science Festival at the National University of Water Management and Nature Use continues to open doors to a professional future!
Today, high school graduates visited an event at the Educational and Scientific Institute of Health Protection, dedicated to the annual 'Science Festival at NUVHP', the educational and cognitive platform 'Health is the greatest gift of nature!' on the occasion of World Health Day.
Together with senior lecturer Olga Andreeva from the Department of Medical and Biological Disciplines, guests and second-year students of the specialties 'Biology and Human Health' and 'Psychology' attended an interesting, educational and cognitive platform.
At the discussion on the scientific and educational platform, future applicants learned the answers to 'eternal' questions about health:
- 'How much sleep is actually needed?' (about the importance of sleep phases for material retention);
- 'Does coffee and energy drinks help to study?' (about the effect of caffeine on the nervous system);
- 'How to eat 'on the go' and not get gastritis?' (tips on healthy snacks);
- 'How much water should you actually drink?' (myths about 2 liters);
- 'How to survive in front of a computer screen?' (eye hygiene and posture).
Student life is not just about studying, but also about understanding how the world around us works. Eleventh graders were able to feel the rhythm of student life and see that a lecturer at NUVHP is primarily a mentor and guide into the world of science and modern technologies.
Thank you all for the vibrant atmosphere and curiosity!
