DEVELOPMENT OF ACADEMIC MOBILITY: AN OPEN ONLINE LECTURE ON ADAPTIVE PHYSICAL CULTURE TOOK PLACE
As part of the implementation of the academic mobility program and in accordance with the conditions of the bilateral cooperation agreement between the National University of Water Management and Nature Management (NUWMM) and Kamianets-Podilskyi National University named after Ivan Ohiienko (KPNU), an open scientific and practical online lecture took place on May 15, 2026.
The guest lecture titled "Adaptive Physical Culture as a Form of Organization of the Physical Therapist's Pedagogical Activity" was conducted by Andrii Volodymyrovych Zaiikin, candidate of pedagogical sciences and associate professor of the Department of Physical Rehabilitation and Medical-Biological Sciences of Physical Education at KPNU named after Ivan Ohiienko.
During the lecture, theoretical-methodological and practical aspects of integrating adaptive physical culture into the professional activities of physical therapy and ergotherapy specialists were discussed in detail. The speaker emphasized:
- pedagogical patterns, methods, and forms of organizing the correctional-recovery process;
- the peculiarities of the interaction between physical therapists and individuals with life activity limitations and special educational needs;
- modern approaches to forming an inclusive environment through physical activity.
Participants in the discussion of актуальні health care and rehabilitation issues included:
- students of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Health Care at NUWMM;
- the faculty and researchers from both higher education institutions;
- practicing specialists in the rehabilitation field.
The conducted event demonstrated a high level of audience interest, confirmed by a prolonged discussion in the format of "questions and answers." Collaborative work contributed to the intensification of interuniversity scientific exchange, the enhancement of the quality of professional training for future specialists, and the further deepening of integration ties between leading domestic higher education institutions.
