PLENARY SESSION OF THE XVII INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE: RELEVANT ISSUES OF PHYSICAL EDUCATION AND NATIONAL HEALTH
On March 26, 2026, a plenary session of the XVII International Scientific and Practical Conference "Modern Problems and Prospects for the Development of Physical Education, Health, and Professional Training for Future Specialists in Physical Culture and Sports" took place within the walls ofMikhail Dragomanov National University of Kyiv.
The scientific event brought together leading scholars, educators, young researchers, and practitioners who are collaboratively working on addressing current issues in the development of physical education, strengthening the health of the nation, and training highly qualified specialists in the field of physical culture and sports.
At the plenary session, Dr. Olena Tymofiyivna Kuznetsova, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor of the Department of Medical and Biological Disciplines at the Institute of Postgraduate Education, presented a report on the topic: "Human Health in the System of Achieving Sustainable Development Goals." In the reportthe pathways for the adaptation and implementation of Sustainable Development Goals were identifiedin the partof health preservation of the population through the prism of regional, local, and local issues.The author emphasized that the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals demonstrates a constructive, targeted path for the higher education institution towards health preservation. Through a series of events and programs, the university shows that even in challenging conditions (military time challenges and limited resources), it is possible to effectively work towards achieving global goals through local actions.
