A traditional meeting of the guarantor of the educational and professional program 'Physical Therapy, Ergotherapy' with higher education students was held at the Educational and Scientific Institute of Health Care.
This year, special emphasis was placed on first-year higher education students, for whom this meeting became an important guideline in building their own educational trajectory. The program guarantor urged them to take an active position from the very first days of study, to be proactive, to focus on the best practices of senior courses, and to consciously engage in the formation of a quality educational environment.
During the meeting, it was emphasized that higher education students are full-fledged participants in the educational process and have real opportunities to influence its quality. In particular, it was about their involvement in the development and improvement of educational programs, making proposals for updating educational components, and initiating the introduction of new ones.
Special attention was paid to explaining the mechanisms for higher education students' participation in improving the educational process: participation in discussions, surveys, working meetings, as well as the formation of an individual educational trajectory from the first year. Such activity makes learning more flexible, modern, and maximally oriented toward professional interests.
The guarantor also announced that a draft of the 2026 educational program would soon be presented for public discussion and urged higher education students, especially first-year students, to actively participate in this process.
Higher education students from all four courses of the educational program participated in the meeting, demonstrating high interest, initiative, and readiness to work on improving the educational process.
The event was yet another confirmation that student-centeredness at the Educational and Scientific Institute of Health Care is being implemented in practice, and higher education students—especially first-year students—are key partners in shaping a quality, modern, and competitive education.
