On May 7, a significant scientific event took place for the community of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Health Care – an online lecture by leading British experts David Jane and Patrick Cocklin on the topic "NOVEL IMAGING MODALITIES IN ARTERIAL DISEASE."The event was part of the prestigious UK-UA Visiting Professors Programme, implemented by the President of Ukraine's Fund for the support of education, science, and sports.
Professor David Jane and vascular surgeon Patrick Cocklin shared advanced experience in using the latest imaging methods for arterial diseases. The speakers focused in detail on:
- modern diagnostic tools that allow for high-precision detection of pathologies at early stages;
- innovative approaches in vascular surgery being implemented in leading clinics in the United Kingdom (Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust);
- the prospects of integrating imaging technologies into rehabilitation protocols.
The lecture sparked lively interest among teachers, graduate students, and students specializing in "Therapy and Rehabilitation" and "Physical Culture and Sports." For over an hour, participants were able to communicate with the speakers, ask professional questions, and discuss future directions for the development of medical technologies.
We thank our British colleagues for their substantive presentation, and the President of Ukraine's Fund for the opportunity for professional development for our youth and researchers!
