BARRIER-FREE EDUCATION AS A MODERN PRIORITY: PARTICIPATION OF THE HEALTH CARE INSTITUTE IN THE ALL-UKRAINIAN CONFERENCE

On March 19, 2026, Doctor of Sciences, Professor, Head of the Department of Therapy and Rehabilitation Natalia Nesterchuk participated in the III All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Conference "Barrier-Free Space in Education: New Requirements, Challenges, and Successful Practices."
During the event, Natalia Nesterchuk presented a report on the topic "Universal Design in Learning," emphasizing modern approaches to ensuring equal access to education for all learners, regardless of their individual characteristics and needs. Special attention was paid to practical tools for implementing universal design principles in the educational process, which contribute to enhancing the quality of learning and forming an inclusive educational environment.
The conference brought together 127 participants from all regions of Ukraine, becoming a powerful platform for exchanging experiences, ideas, and best practices in the field of barrier-free accessibility.
In today's conditions, the issue of barrier-free accessibility is becoming particularly relevant, as it concerns not only physical accessibility but also the creation of an educational environment where everyone has equal opportunities for development, learning, and self-actualization.
The significant scientific and practical contribution of Natalia Nesterchuk, her active position in implementing inclusive approaches and developing a barrier-free educational space, is an important step towards the modernization of higher education and improving its quality according to modern challenges.
