A nationwide round table on intellectual property issues was held at NUVHP.
On March 12, 2026, aNational round table with elements of a panel discussionon the topic 'Intellectual Property in Wartime: Law Enforcement, Assessment, and the Role of Trademarks for the State' took place at the National University of Water Management and Nature Management.
The event was attended by scientists, practicing lawyers, business representatives, specialists in the assessment of property rights of intellectual property, employees of the State Property Fund of Ukraine, as well as undergraduate, master's, and doctoral students. The Educational and Research Institute of Economics and Management of NUVU was also actively represented.
Representatives from the National University of Water Management and Nature Management and the National University 'Ostroh Academy', the State Property Fund of Ukraine, relevant committees of NAAU, and business structures participated in the discussion.
During the round table, participants discussed the legal and economic aspects of intellectual property, practical issues of trademark registration, problems of their accounting and valuation as intangible assets, as well as the role of intellectual property in the development of an innovative economy.
Participants noted the importance ofcollaboration between educators and practitionersand emphasized the significance ofan interdisciplinary approach in training modern specialiststhat combines economic, legal, and management competencies.
