Guest lecture on gender-oriented governance

A guest lecture on the topic 'Gender Sensitivity and Gender-Oriented Governance' was held at the Department of Management and Public Administration for students pursuing higher education in the specialty 'Public Administration and Administration' at the bachelor's and master's levels.

The speaker of the event was Olesya Steliha – the chief specialist of the press service of the public communications department of the digital transformation and public communications department of the Rivne Regional Military Administration.

During the lecture, participants became acquainted with the key principles of gender equality, the peculiarities of implementing a gender-oriented approach in the public administration system, and modern practices for ensuring equal rights and opportunities. Special attention was given to issues of overcoming gender stereotypes, creating an inclusive environment, and the role of public authorities in implementing gender equality policies. According to the students, the lecture contributed to a deeper understanding of the principles of gender equality and gender-oriented governance, as well as prompted critical reflection on widespread societal stereotypes.
