Round table on the development of educational programs for the specialty B13 "Library, Information, and Archival Affairs"

On March 26, 2026, the Department of Management and Public Administration organized a round table with the participation of teachers from Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University. The discussion involved:

·    Professor Lesya Tykhonchuk, head of the Department of Management and Public Administration;

·    Associate professors from the Department of Museum Studies, Heritage Studies, and Information-Analytical Activities: Valentina Nadolska, Tetiana Trofimchuk-Kyrylova, and Svitlana Chybyrak.

The main topic of the meeting was the prospects for developing educational programs at the first (bachelor's) level in the specialty B13 'Library, Information and Archival Studies'. During the event, two programs were presented:

·    'Documentary Support of Management and Information-Analytical Activities';

·    'Management of Information Communications.'

Participants discussed:

·    the practical orientation and logical structure of the programs;

·    directions for improving the practical training of students;

·    prospects for further development of educational programs in accordance with modern professional requirements.

The meeting took place in a working, professional atmosphere, facilitating effective experience exchange among scientific and pedagogical staff and forming agreed approaches to the development of educational programs.
