Cybersecurity Without Barriers: A Nationwide Online Event Took Place at NUVHP
On May 19, 2026, as part of the second stage of the Educational Marathon 'Public Administration without Barriers', organized by the National Agency of Ukraine for Civil Service and the Higher School of Public Administration, the National University of Water Management and Nature Management held an online event on the topic: 'Cyber Protection of Personal Data in Systems of Digital Accessibility'. The speakers of the event were lecturers from the Department of Management and Public Administration of NUWMP:
— Serhiy Vasylovych Babich – Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Management and Public Administration;
— Lesya Khotiyivna Tykhonchuk – Director of the Veterans Development Center of NUWMP, Doctor of Science in Public Administration, Professor, Head of the Department of Management and Public Administration.
During the meeting, participants discussed current issues of digital accessibility, personal data protection, and cybersecurity in the context of modern public administration development. Special attention was paid to practical aspects of the secure use of digital services, challenges of information security, and the role of government institutions in shaping an accessible and safe digital environment for all citizens.
The event was attended by higher education students, scientific and pedagogical staff, civil servants, and representatives of local self-government bodies.
The Educational Marathon 'Public Administration without Barriers' united leading higher education institutions in Ukraine around an important goal — the formation of a new culture of barrier-free public administration based on the principles of accessibility, inclusivity, and digital security.
