International Activities

The Department of Accounting and Auditing consistently and thoughtfully develops international scientific cooperation and actively integrates into the global academic space. The geography of the department's partnerships includes Poland, Lithuania, Moldova, Georgia, and Kazakhstan, which allows for a broad field for academic and scientific contacts. In particular, the department collaborates with the University of Lublin Polytechnic, Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin, the Institute of Economics and Management of the University of Siedlce, Academi ade Studii Economice (Moldova), Georgian Technical University, Aleksandras Stulginskis University (Lithuania), and the East Kazakhstan State Technical University named after D. Serikbayev (Kazakhstan).

The department's lecturers regularly present research findings at prestigious international scientific events in Poland, Turkey, Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Georgia, and other countries. Among the recent presentations is participation in conferences:

The research results of the department are presented in publications indexed in international databases such as Scopus and Web of Science. The topics of the publications cover issues related to risk-oriented approaches in auditing, tax management, financial security of the state, environmental taxation, and the development of the digital economy.

The faculty members of the department actively participate in academic mobility and teach courses in English at leading European universities. For instance, Prof. Svitlana Levytska, Prof. Olha Osadcha, and others give lectures at Lublin University of Technology and the Natural and Human Sciences University in Siedlce (Poland). The faculty members are also actively involved in international educational and research programs. In particular, Prof. Svitlana Zubilevych participates in the World Bank's PULSAR program, which brings together educational and professional communities in the field of accounting and financial reporting.

An important aspect of the department's international activities is the academic mobility of students. Thus, during the 2019–2020 academic year, students Halyna Yarmolina and Inna Kovenko studied in the field of "Accounting and Taxes" at Jan Długosz University in Częstochowa (Poland). In the 2023–2024 academic year, student Sofia Novak completed her studies at the Business School of the University of Newcastle (United Kingdom), and in 2025 – under the projectErasmus+ at the Higher School of Finance in Königs Wusterhausen (Germany). Such academic exchanges demonstrate the department's openness to international educational opportunities and contribute to the development of competitive specialists capable of working in a multicultural environment and implementing advanced practices in the domestic economy.
