History of the department
The history of the Department of Finance and Environmental Economics began in November 2004.
From its inception until 2015, the department was headed by Doctor of Economics, Professor, Honored Economist of Ukraine Pavlov V. I. Since June 2016, the department has been headed by Doctor of Economics, Professor, Distinguished Educator of Ukraine Melnyk L. V.
On November 2, 2020, according to the order of the rector of NUWGP No. 617 dated October 28, 2020, the Department of Finance and Environmental Economics was renamed to the Department of Finance and Economic Security.
Department Mission
The mission of the department is to prepare highly qualified specialists in the field of finance and financial-economic security management, oriented towards the real needs of the business environment, who are competitive in the labor market, have leadership ambitions and high moral qualities.
