Educational activities

InIn 1997 (at that time, the Ukrainian State Academy of Water Management), the department initiated the training of specialists in the specialty "Automated Control of Technological Processes" at the specialist level, and in 2002 - at the bachelor's level in the specialty 6.092501 "Automated Control of Technological Processes", and since 2010, 6.050202 "Automation and Computer-Integrated Technologies". Since 2016, an educational program "Automation and Computer-Integrated Technologies" was launched within the specialty 151 "Automation and Computer-Integrated Technologies", which in 2023 transitioned to specialty 174 "Automation, Computer-Integrated Technologies and Robotics" and received a new name "Automation, Computer-Integrated Technologies and Robotics."

For decades, the department has taught the theoretical foundations of electrical engineering, electrical safety, electric drive, basics of automation, and other disciplines for students of many specialties. Today, the department is named automation, computer-integrated technologies and robotics and is the graduating unit for higher education seekers in specialty 174 "Automation, Computer-Integrated Technologies and Robotics" at the first (bachelor's) and second (master's) levels of higher education.
