Branches
The branch of the Department of Fire Safety named after Y.M. Babich was established at the Creative Production Firm Triada in 2012 and is an educational and research structural unit of the National University of Water Management and Nature Resources Use.
The branch of the department is led by the director of the "Creative Production Firm Triada" – Olexandr Holub, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Senior Researcher, Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Construction of Ukraine.
The "Creative Production Firm Triada" has been operating since 2006 and has considerable experience in designing a wide range of objects across various industries. This includes the design of residential neighborhoods, manufacturing enterprises, healthcare facilities, public centers, logistics storage complexes, and more.
The general methodological guidance for the branch of the Department of Environmental Safety named after E.M. Babich at NUVHP is provided by the acting head of the department, Prof. S.V. Filipchuk.
The department branch was established for: conducting educational and research activities with students of the institute. construction and architecture; implementation of scientific developments in the production of industrial and civil construction; preparation and review of educational and methodological literature.
In the practice of designing many objects Creative Production Firm Triada has utilized the scientific developments of the faculty from the Department of Civil Protection named after E.M. Babych. Among them are:
- Experimental and theoretical foundations of designing reinforced concrete structures with high-strength concrete for protective facilities.(Prof. Philipchuk S.V.)
- Methodological Foundations of Modeling the Work and Calculation of Bending Wooden Elements with Combined Reinforcement (Prof. S.S. Homon)
- Calculated reliability of reinforced concrete structures under the action of variable loads (Prof. Masyuk G.H.).
The department's branch prepares students in practical skills and knowledge in the field of construction, focusing on resource-efficient materials, structures, buildings, and facilities, as well as the latest technologies in construction.
Employees of the Department of Civil Defense named after E.M. Babych are involved in delivering lectures, conducting practical classes in production, supervising industrial practice, course and diploma design, collaborating with the main department's faculty on assessments and exams, as well as overseeing the defense of students’ industrial practice.
At PP "Creative Production Firm Triada," more than 50 graduates of NUWGP have worked and are currently working over the years. Among them are: Hergelyuk H.V., Zinichuk A.V., Karavan B.V., Yurkiv A.Z., and many others who, while still students, were actively involved in real project work at the company.
Each year, students from the Institute of Construction and Architecture undertake practical and pre-diploma training at the department's branch.
Leading teachers and researchers of NUVGP are enhancing their qualifications at Creative Production Firm "Triada". In particular: Prof. H.K. Masyuk, Ph.D.; Prof. V.M. Romashko, D.Sc.; Prof. E.V. Puhachov, D.Sc.
