Author collective: Sandulyak O.V., Harashchenko V.I., Yatskov M.V., Korkhov O.Yu., Sandulyak V.V., Volkov I.V. patented new scientific and technical developments for the first time in our university in the USA, Germany, France, Japan, Sweden, Italy, India from 1979 to 1990 and received 45 foreign patents. Based on them, a licensing agreement for the technology of magnetic purification of natural gas was sold to the French company 'Flenik Schlumberger' (license cost – 2.5 million francs). A methodology was developed, and scientific supervision of the destruction of a large batch of chemical waste imported to the Rivne region from Germany was successfully carried out (developers – Professor Yatskov M.V. and Associate Professor Turchin P.F.).
In 1985, a team of young inventors consisting of Sandulyak O.V., Harashchenko V.I., Yatskov M.V., Korkhov O.D., Dakhnenko V.L., Vezhansky O.P., Volkov I.V., Dovhanyuk V.D., Kuznetsov S.O., Sandulyak V.V. was awarded the Gold Medal at the 1st World Exhibition of Inventors’ Achievements (Bulgaria).
In 1983, Sandulyak O.V., Harashchenko V.I., Yatskov M.V., Korkhov O.Yu., Sandulyak V.V., Shepel N.I. became winners of the republican competition for the best proposals of inventors and rationalizers aimed at mechanizing manual and labor-intensive processes, increasing labor productivity and work quality.
For the first time in the university's history, teachers of the Department of Physics Harashchenko V.I., Sandulyak O.V. became laureates of the Republican Prize named after M.Ostrovsky in the field of science, technology, and production in 1982 for their comprehensive scientific work 'Research, development, and implementation of new electromagnetic filter-settlers to improve liquid quality'. A feature of the prize was that it could be awarded to young scientists aged no more than 33 years. Of nearly 200 works submitted for the competition, two works received the prize.
