HSWT
Weihenstephan-Triesdorf University of Applied Sciences (HSWT, https://www.hswt.de/en/)is a leading technical university in Germany, located in the federal state of Bavaria. The university specializes in training specialists in agriculture, ecology, natural resource management, engineering, biotechnology, food technology, and sustainable development. Founded in 1971, the university combines high academic standards with a practical orientation in education and active international activities. HSWT has been awarded the Erasmus quality label ('E-Quality') for outstanding achievements in international academic exchange.
Collaboration with NUVHP
National University of Water Management and Natural Resources Use (NUWMRU)develops partnerships with HSWT within the framework of international academic mobility programs and scientific-educational cooperation, allowing students and academic staff to participate in international mobility, internships, training courses, and joint projects.
Key areas of cooperation include:
- Erasmus+ KA1 (academic mobility).
Collaboration under the Erasmus+ KA1 program involves exchanges of students, teachers, and administrative staff. Participants have the opportunity to study, teach, undergo internships, and exchange experiences in a European academic environment.
- International Online Semester– a distance credit learning program for NUVHP students
- DAAD grant projects (German Academic Exchange Service).
Under the DAAD programs, academic exchanges, internships, and participation in educational and scientific events are implemented, which contribute to building a Ukrainian-German network of agricultural universities, enhancing qualifications, and integrating Ukrainian education into the European space, projects for the digitalization of higher education, and joint scientific initiatives.

The aim of the projects: to increase the attractiveness of the educational offerings of Ukrainian partner universities for students studying in Ukraine. Key activities planned by the project: - Organization of an online teaching semester for students of Ukrainian partner universities (with the involvement of HSWT faculty and higher education institutions of Ukraine) - Professional development of Ukrainian teachers in the fields of didactics, student-centered learning, and online class organization. - digital transformation of environmental education; - creating a networking platform for the implementation of joint educational and scientific events and training courses; A series of training sessions and international schools have been conducted, during which the qualifications of Ukrainian graduate students and educators on modern online teaching were enhanced. |
Partnership with Weihenstephan-Triesdorf University of Applied Sciences promotes the internationalization of the educational process at NUVHP, expanding opportunities for students and faculty and strengthening long-term international academic ties.
