SGGW

Warsaw University of Life Sciences, with nearly 200 years of history, is one of the oldest, largest, and most modern higher education institutions in Poland. Its roots trace back to 1816 when the Institute of Agronomy was established in Mariemont, the first agricultural higher education institution in Poland and the fourth in Europe.

SGGW ranks first in the life science universities rankings in Poland. This university has also been recognized as the 'most innovative and creative university in Poland concerning employment prospects.'

Warsaw University of Life Sciences offers a wide range of programs – biological, medical, economic, and humanitarian. The range of academic programs is continually growing and currently consists of 34 study programs (130 specializations). Students can obtain bachelor's, master's, doctoral degrees, and an MBA.

The university collaborates with 350 international partners from all continents. Annually, about 1400 staff and students travel internationally. SGGW is a member of prestigious international organizations such as Euroleague for Life Sciences (ELLS), European Universities Association (EUA), and Interuniversity Consortium for Agricultural and Related Sciences (ICA). DOUBLE DIPLOMA

Education is conducted jointly by both Parties in the field of construction and environmental engineering within the areas: construction, environmental engineering SGGW, as well as construction and water management (NUWGP).
The training is conducted according to a joint educational program approved by the councils of the faculties/institutes of both universities.

The approved curriculum by the councils of the faculty/institute must enable the student to achieve all learning outcomes for the respective field of study, which are approved by the Senate of SGGW and the Academic Council of NULES.

The number of ECTS credits and the learning outcomes achieved by the student within the joint educational program must meet the requirements for master's programs at each university. The annual number of participants in the dual diploma program is 5 students. Education for students is free according to the cooperation agreement between the faculties.

In the first and last semesters of the master's program, the student studies at their home university, while the other two semesters are at the host university.

Deans/directors choose a scientific supervisor (with a doctorate) from the faculty/institute teaching staff for the student, which is then approved by the council of the faculty/institute.

Each student has two scientific supervisors, one from each university.

In the event of academic differences (crediting subjects scheduled for the semester), the student resolves them according to the rules adopted at the universities. The deans/directors of both faculties/institutes jointly determine the method of crediting courses.

State exam

The diploma thesis is prepared by the student under the supervision of two scientific supervisors (from the host and sending universities) according to the requirements developed at each university. The diploma thesis is written in two languages: the native language and one foreign language of choice – either Ukrainian and English or Polish.

The diploma thesis is assessed according to the criteria approved at each university.

The student is allowed to take the state exam after completing the curriculum.

The state exam is conducted at the host university before an examination commission approved by the dean of the faculty/director of the institute, which includes at least one of the student's scientific supervisors. The exam is conducted in Polish/Ukrainian.

NECESSARY DOCUMENTS

All documents required foradmission to the universitywill be available for printing after registration onthe website(the site is available during the admission campaign).

appendix 2: certificate of complete general secondary education with appendix. Bachelor's degree diploma with an apostille (more details on the website www.apostille.in.ua) translated into Polish (by a sworn translator or notarized in Ukraine);
appendix 3: request to the Rector for admission;
appendix 4: statement of Polish language proficiency along with a certificate or other document confirming the level of Polish language knowledge, minimum level B1;
appendix 5: application for accommodation in a dormitory;
appendix 6: receipt for payment of the admission fee;
Appendix 7: 2 current photographs (as in Polish documents - 70-80% of the face, frontal) + 1 in electronic form;
Appendix 8: a scanned page of the passport with personal data and photograph;
Appendix 9: medical certificate regarding the absence of contraindications to education.
