The activities of the International Water Association aim to unite the best global specialists in the field of water management to exchange knowledge, experience, and ideas on relevant issues and to develop and implement innovative solutions in the field of water resources that will contribute to their preservation. The mission is to promote standards and best practices for sustainable water resource management.
The International Water Association (IWA) is the largest network of professionals in the field of water resources, created to seek solutions to global water problems and consisting of more than 10,000 individual members and about 500 large corporations in 130 countries. Each year, IWA holds over 40 specialized conferences and seminars on various aspects of water resource management, including the World Water Congress and exhibition.
