UNESCO Projects 2026-2027
Dear colleagues!
We inform you that the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine has received a letter from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine regarding the start of accepting applications for the UNESCO Participation Program for 2026-2027 (a copy of the circular letter from the Director-General H. El-Enany and application forms are attached).
The UNESCO Participation Program provides funding to support national, sub-regional, or regional projects of member states that align with the Organization's program priorities, including the priorities of 'Africa', 'gender equality', and 'youth'. Projects should relate to the promotion of education, science, information and communication, and culture.
I would like to draw your attention to the fact that the total amount of assistance provided for each request should not exceed 26,000 US dollars for a national project, 28,000 US dollars for a sub-regional or interregional project, and 38,000 US dollars for a regional project.
Each UNESCO member state may submit up to seven applications by February 27, 2026. Projects approved for 2026-2027 must be implemented no later than December 31, 2027.
