The activities of the student development center create conditions and mechanisms for the direct involvement of students in the formation and implementation of organizational work at NUWGP; effective development of student self-government and student organizations. It also supports the activities and accompanies student associations and interest clubs.

The activities of the student development center are aimed at:

• the adaptation of first-year students;
• the formation of a positive psychological and cultural climate among participants in the educational process;
• supporting the work of existing student organizations and student self-government;
• organizing cultural and mass events at NUWGP;
• assisting students in creating new student organizations (SO) and systematically supporting existing SO;
• organizing volunteer events;
• coordinating and organizing the work of volunteers;
• holding commemorative evenings and celebrating significant dates in the implementation of the national-patriotic education concept for students;
• creating the necessary conditions for the effective development of student self-government and identifying potential leaders;
• creating conditions for the free development of personal thinking and general culture by engaging in various types of creative activities.

The activities of the practical psychology and social work sector of the student development center are aimed at:

• forming a positive psychological and cultural climate among participants in the educational process;
• corrective work;
• educational activities;
• psychological counseling;
• organizational and methodological work;
• diagnostic work.
