The Chief Mechanic's Department is a structural division of the administrative and economic unit, which ensures the organization of operation, maintenance, and repair of engineering networks, equipment, and vehicles of the university for their reliable, safe, and uninterrupted operation.
Main tasks and functions of the department:
· Organization and control of the operation, current and capital repair works of the heating, water supply, and sewage systems of the university;
· Ensuring proper operational technical condition of engineering networks, pipelines, plumbing equipment, and heating systems;
· Conducting preventive measures to prevent emergency situations and reduce operational risks;
· Monitoring the technical condition of equipment and measuring instruments for heat energy and water;
· Organization of accounting for heat energy consumption and water resources;
· Conclusion and support of contracts with the heat generating enterprise;
· Ensuring prompt response and elimination of emergencies in engineering networks;
· Organization of operation and maintenance and current repairs of the university's vehicles;
· Control over the conclusion and signing of contracts for mandatory civil liability insurance, technical inspections in accordance with established norms and rules;
· Ensuring transport services for the needs of the university, including for the execution of repair, economic, and service tasks.
Within the department's activities, work is carried out to replace and repair sections of heat pipelines, heating pipelines, water supply, and sewage, radiators, as well as technical maintenance of plumbing equipment. Continuous monitoring of the integrity of shut-off valves and timely replacement of worn elements are aimed at ensuring stable operation of engineering systems and preventing emergencies.
The automotive component of the department's activities is an important part of the university's logistics system and is used for the transportation of employees, materials, equipment, and tools necessary to fulfill statutory tasks and respond to technical needs.
The activities of the department are carried out in accordance with the internal regulatory documents of the university and approved provisions.
