The activities of the Center for Life Safety and Civil Protection of the university encompass training, organization, and ensuring the safety of all participants in the educational process.

The main tasks of the Center for Life Safety and Civil Protection are:

- organization of preventive measures aimed at eliminating harmful and dangerous production factors, preventing accidents in the educational and production process, occupational diseases, as well as other cases of threats to the life or health of employees and students;

- monitoring compliance by all participants in the educational process with the requirements of laws and other normative legal acts on labor protection, fire safety, civil protection, as well as the provisions of the "Labor Protection" section of the collective agreement and other normative acts in force within the university;

- prevention of emergency situations, protection of participants in the educational process and territories from their consequences, ensuring the readiness of forces and means to respond to emergency situations, creating a warning system, as well as other organizational measures on civil protection issues;

- informing and providing explanations on labor protection, fire safety, and civil protection issues to employees and students of the university.
