Scientific Activity

The scientific research work of the department for 2024-2028 is conducted on the topic "Static and
dynamic calculations for strength, technological processes of processing, methods of computer
modeling of machines and mechanisms used in various industries" (RK
No. 0124U002891), aimed at researching: dynamics and increasing the durability
of mechanisms and machines; optimization of technological processes for vibration processing of parts
with free abrasives and creating designs of new grinding devices; wind
technologies for obtaining alternative energy sources; studying the impact of transverse
oscillations of the trough of the inertial conveyor on its productivity and means of computer
graphics in the educational process to form the graphic competencies of future
specialists in the technical field. We collaborate with technical universities: National
Technical University "Lviv Polytechnic", "Zhytomyr Polytechnic", Ivano-
Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas, and Ternopil
at the national technical university. Students participate in scientific research.
Department staff have publications in specialized publications in Ukraine and in Scopus. Applications are submitted
for utility model patents. Scientific and pedagogical staff and students prepare scientific reports under their
guidance and present at conferences both at the university and
at other scientific institutions in Ukraine (Kyiv, Lviv, Odesa, Zaporizhzhia, Chernihiv, Sumy,
Khmelnytskyi, etc.). In the last five years, the department has obtained about 60 author’s
certificates and patents for inventions. The department's scientific developments are implemented in production.
