Scientific research is conducted in accordance with the priority areas of development of science and technology, approved by the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated September 7, 2011, No. 942. Fundamental and applied research and developments are carried out according to the priority thematic areas of the university's activities, which have been agreed upon by the Ministry of Education and Science.
Faculty members participate in international and national scientific conferences and seminars.
The results of fundamental and applied research aim to increase the efficiency of lifting and transport, road, construction, and reclamation machines and equipment; protect the natural environment in the construction sector; new and resource-saving technologies in the construction industry and industry.
As of today, two scientific directions are functioning in the Department of BDMM, in which our students participate.
The first direction– "Theory of multi-layer destruction of the ground environment and creation of soil-protecting, energy-saving, land-layered machines and controlled underground-moving devices" (supervisor: Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Kravets C.B.)
The second direction– "Research of the working process of drum mills" (supervisor: Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Naumenko Y.V.)
