The scientific activity of the teachers at the Department of Medical and Biological Disciplines is one of the priority components, in connection with the training of highly qualified specialists, which requires systematic improvement of professional levels and activation of scientific research work.

The faculty of the department has published about 180 scientific works, 5 textbooks, and more than 65 educational and methodological publications. The scientific research work of the Department of Medical and Biological Disciplines on the topic: "Restoration of health in individuals of different ages through physical therapy and occupational therapy" for the years 2019-2024 (state registration number 0119U002877). The head is PhD in Physical Education and Sports, Associate Professor Nohas Anzhela Oleksandrivna. During the reporting period, the department defended a dissertation on the topic: "Theoretical and methodological foundations of physical rehabilitation for patients with rheumatoid arthritis" and obtained the scientific degree of Doctor of Sciences by Nohas Anzhela Oleksandrivna.
