The Department of Management and Public Administration was established on September 1, 2023, by mergingdepartmentsmanagement anddepartmentspublic administration, administration, and information activities.
The Department of Public Administration, Administration, and Information Activities has a long history of establishment and development. In 1993, the Department of Production Management was created at NUWGP, which was renamed the Department of Regional Management in 1999, then to the Department of Public Administration and Local Self-Government in 2012, to the Department of Public Administration, Document Studies, and Information Activities in 2015, and finally to the Department of Public Administration, Administration, and Information Activities in 2022. The first headdepartmentswas Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor E.A. Zin, from 2012 to 2014, the department was headed by Professor, Doctor of Science in Public Administration M.P. Soroka, and from 2014, the position of headdepartmentswas held by Doctor of Science in Public Administration Y.V. Shpak, from September 2015 to September 2020, Ihor Leonidovych Sazonets, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor. Currently, the position of headdepartmentsis held byLesya Khotiyivna Tykhonchuk,Professor, Doctor of Science in Public Administration. The Department of Management at NUWGP was established in 1998. For many years, the department was led by Professor L.F. Kozyushko.
