Research activities of the department

Department of Geology and Hydrologyconducts geological studies of subsoil, hydrological research, and engineering surveys:

- geological surveys, searches, and exploration of mineral deposits;

- research of regimes, assessment of the ecological state of surface and groundwater, water protection zones, flood and inundation areas;

- engineering-geological and hydrometeorological surveys;

- scientific justification for optimizing the network of natural reserve fund;

- mapping work using GIS technologies;

- expert services in the fields of geological exploration and hydrometeorology.
