A unique exhibition has opened, created with the support of the Ukrainian Cultural Foundation.
On October 28, a unique exhibition opened in the exhibition hall of the Rivne Regional Organization of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine (NSHU), created within the framework of a project supported by the Ukrainian Cultural Fund. Its goal is to digitize the objects of the material heritage of Rivne from the interwar period (1919–1938) and give them new life in the digital space.
The curators of this ambitious idea were Tetyana Samsoniuk, PhD, director of the Center for Digital History, and Dr. Anton Shynkaruk, PhD, head of the board of the Center. A whole team worked on the implementation — photographers, surveyors, architects, specialists in 3D modeling and digitization. The result is impressive: 10 detailed 3D models of historical buildings in Rivne and a tactile map of the city that will soon be cast in bronze.
The atmosphere of the exhibition was complemented by works of local artists — members of the Rivne Regional Organization of NSHU, who depicted familiar corners of Rivne in warm landscapes.
Among the guests of the event were educators, cultural managers, artists, and scholars of the city. The Department of Philosophy and Cultural Studies of RDGU was represented by Tetyana Kobiarska, PhD, guarantor of the OP 'Creative and Digital Culture', and Tamara Shadyuk, PhD, guarantor of the OP 'Design'.

🌟 Marta Huk (1st year OP 'Creative and Digital Culture').
It is particularly pleasing that the student designers will have the opportunity to participate in the continuation of the project — to showcase their talent, creativity, and contribute to the creation of something truly new and inspired for Rivne.
