Scientific Activity
Scientific activity of the OT department
At the department, under the leadership of associate professor Boychura M.V., the scientific club "Modern Web Development Technologies" operates. Students are involved in scientific research based on academic freedom, participate in the collection and processing of data for the research topic being carried out at the department: "Increasing the efficiency of data processing and information security in computer systems", supervisor PhD, associate professor Sidor A.I.; "Scientific and practical and theoretical foundations of optimizing wastewater treatment processes", I-89; 2023-2026, responsible performer PhD, associate professor of the department Boychura M.V. Students participated in completed research works: "Information-analytical system of organic farming and ensuring ecological sustainability of soils", responsible performer PhD, associate professor Shatnyi S.V.; "Intensification of the work of water supply and sewage facilities of united territorial communities considering the principles of differentiated water use". As a result of the scientific activities of students in state budget research themes and the approval of the obtained results in qualification works, students received appropriate acts of implementation of the results of scientific activity. Last year, NUWGP launched an elective discipline “Technological Leadership in Hardware Startups” jointly with two domestic higher education partners. As a result of completing this special course, students form a ready startup, which is presented at the All-Ukrainian hackathon. From 2024, NUWGP is a partner-executor of the international project “CINEA-H2020-NZC101036519-PCP – “Creating a vision for NetZero for the city of Rivne for 2023-2025 by the Rivne City Council”, which is headed by associate professor, PhD Shatnyi S.V., while lecturers Shatna A.V. and Bahniuk O.M. support the direction of developing the IT infrastructure of a distributed data collection and processing system, involving student applicants in tasks of data analysis and organizing roundtable activities on the topic, the results of students' activities will be reflected in qualification works and confirmed by the relevant acts of implementation.
