Academic Mobility Programs

The National University of Water Management and Nature Conservation (NUWMC) pays considerable attention to the development of national academic mobility as an important tool for improving the quality of education, professional development of higher education students and academic staff.

The university primarily implements initiative academic mobility, which provides the opportunity for studying, teaching, internships, participation in scientific research, educational projects, and other forms of academic cooperation between higher education institutions in Ukraine.

As of the 2025/2026 academic year, NUWMC has established cooperation in the field of national academic mobility with a number of higher education institutions in Ukraine, namely:

• Dnipro Humanitarian University;

• Zhytomyr Polytechnic State University;

• Lviv Polytechnic National University;

• West Ukrainian National University;

• Zaporizhzhia National University;

• Pryazovskyi State Technical University;

• Volyn National University named after Lesia Ukrainka;

• Ternopil National Pedagogical University named after Volodymyr Hnatiuk;

• Sumy National Agrarian University;

• Uman State Pedagogical University named after Pavlo Tychyna;

• Kamianets-Podilskyi National University named after Ivan Ohienko;

• National Technical University 'Dnipro Polytechnic';

• Dnipro State Agrarian and Economic University;

• National University 'Ostroh Academy';

• Vinnytsia National Agrarian University;

• Zhytomyr State University named after Ivan Franko;

• Lutsk National Technical University and others.

Cooperation within academic mobility programs is aimed at expanding educational opportunities for higher education seekers, exchanging experience among academic and teaching staff, developing inter-university interaction, and implementing best educational practices.

The organization of academic mobility at NUVHP is carried out in accordance with the Law of Ukraine 'On Higher Education', the Procedure for implementing the right to academic mobility approved by the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated August 12, 2015, No. 579 (with amendments), as well as internal regulatory documents of the university, which are placed in the NUVHP repository.

The procedure for transferring learning outcomes ensures the recognition of educational components, ECTS credits, and learning outcomes obtained by students during their participation in academic mobility programs, in accordance with the principles of transparency, academic integrity, and student-centered approach.

In order to improve the regulatory framework for national academic mobility and align it with current requirements of Ukrainian legislation, the university is working on the preparation of an updated Regulation on national (internal) academic mobility of participants in the educational process at NUVHP, which will be published on the official university website after approval.
