Education without borders is implemented as part of the INTERADIS project. For foreign students and refugees, the project 'Education without Borders' has started. Over four months, 250 students attended 480 hours of interdisciplinary courses. The project has four main areas:

1. Interactive creative activities for children
Incredibly interesting and informative activities were conducted for Ukrainian and foreign children who were forced to leave their homes due to the war. More than 25 children from Ukraine, Mexico, Portugal, Italy, and Spain joined interactive online activities three times a week, where they could learn more about our city of Rivne and Rivne region, as well as create mini-applications and origami, visit a virtual zoo, play in a virtual playground, and even watch movies. There were English language classes for our youngest students. There we focused on reading, understanding, and conversation.

2. Language online courses (Ukrainian, English, German, French, Turkish)
For foreign students and refugees, over 300 hours of practical classes in Ukrainian and foreign languages (English, French, German, and Turkish) were conducted. The courses not only raise the level of linguistic knowledge but also instill global citizenship, intercultural competence, and ethical considerations. The emphasis on cultural dissemination ensures that students gain knowledge about diverse cultures, fostering mutual respect and understanding within the educational community.

3. Course 'Financial Literacy'
Today, when cash transactions are almost nonexistent in the modern world, digital financial products and services are becoming more prevalent in society. We believe that dealing with credit cards, mortgage loans, consumer loans, and even medical insurance and self-directed investment accounts has been extremely beneficial.
This project has been very beneficial not just for refugees and foreign students, but also for us as members of the university community. During the information crisis worldwide, it helped us focus on the educational process, on communicating with others, on ways to transmit our knowledge to others, and thereby assist them in adapting and integrating into new conditions and even into a new society.

4. Preparation for External Independent Testing
Practical classes for preparation for entrance exams in English. During the training sessions and workshops, our future students had the opportunity to prepare for the English language entrance exam. Interactive classes included all aspects of language learning. The textbook English Grammar in Use by Cambridge Publishing was used for effective test preparation.

Adaptation Course:

The course 'Integration and Adaptation in Ukraine: First Steps' is designed for foreigners who came to study at the National University of Water Management and Nature Resources Use. It is hosted on the NUWEE educational platform Moodle:https://exam.nuwm.edu.ua/enrol/index.php?id=5813
The main target audience includes students of the preparatory department for foreign citizens undergoing language training, as well as first-year bachelor’s and master's degree seekers. It is recommended for higher education seekers to choose this course in the first semester of study as part of elective courses. For students of the preparatory department, this course is included in the curriculum.
Developers of the course curriculum: Mykhailova Yelyzaveta, Doctor of Economics, Head of the Preparatory Department for Foreign Citizens, Nikitenko Dmytro, Doctor of Economics, Professor, Chair of the Department of Enterprise Economics and International Business. According to the procedure for approving study plans at NUWEE, the course program 'Integration and Adaptation in Ukraine: First Steps' was approved by the Department of Enterprise Economics and International Business, where until 2022, the largest number of foreign students studied. Project group leader, Scientific and Methodological Council for Quality of the Institute of Economics and Management and the scientific and methodological council of NUWEE.
The course structure includes 20 lecture hours, 10 hours of practical classes, and 60 hours of independent work.
