From February 10 to 12, 2025, the kick-off meeting was held in Serbia
as part of the international project "Enhancing Digital Skills in Higher Education in the
Water Sector" (grant 101178708 — DIGISKILLS — ERASMUS-EDU-2024-CBHE). The purpose of the project is
to raise the level of education in water resources in Moldova and Ukraine by implementing
digital technologies and best practices from European Union countries. The event took place in a
combined format — online and offline. The hosting party was the University
of Niš (Niš, Serbia).
The meeting was attended by representatives of partner participating universities: Norwegian
University of Life Sciences (Ås, Norway — project coordinator), University of Lower
Danube in Galați (Romania), Technical University of Moldova (Chișinău), National
University of Water Management and Nature Use (Rivne), National
University "Lviv Polytechnic" (Lviv), Ukrainian State University of Science and
technologies (Dnipro), as well as the National Technical University of Ukraine "Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute"
Sikorsky (Kyiv).
The main topic of discussion was planning and coordinating activities within the framework of
work packages. Participants presented their universities and project teams, discussed
a detailed action plan, as well as defining common activities for 2025 and beyond.
