DIGISKILLS - Strengthening digital skills in higher education of the water sector.
The project contributes to increasing the competitiveness of the European water sector and directs educational activities toward the development of digital skills needed in the labor market. Within the project, training for pedagogical staff on the use of digital solutions in the educational process will be conducted, and modern equipment and software will be provided for digital transformation. The project will contribute to improving teaching quality, modernizing educational systems, and helping students acquire better competencies.
The goal of the project is to improve the quality of education in the field of water supply in Moldova and Ukraine by developing digital skills and transferring innovative technologies and best practices from EU member states.
The project will ensure the transfer of knowledge gained from successful Erasmus+ projects and will promote the digital transformation of education in the field of water supply in the region by implementing innovative teaching methods, digital seminars, and e-learning modules.
The overall objective of the DIGISKILLS project is to enhance the quality of education in the field of water resources in Moldova and Ukraine by developing digital skills and implementing digital transformation in accordance with adopted strategies for digital higher education.
Specific objectives of the DIGISKILLS project:
1. Increase the level of competencies and skills of the teaching staff in higher education institutions by familiarizing them with examples of best practices and innovations.
2. Improve the management of municipal enterprises and services in the water sector using digital tools to increase efficiency and transition to a green and circular economy.
3. Modernize university courses in the field of education in water resources according to the requirements of the Bologna process.
4. Harmonize the learning environment by purchasing modern equipment and software.
5. Meet the needs of graduates in the labor market by creating opportunities for lifelong learning.
