Department of Hydraulic Engineering and Hydraulicsprepares engineers in the specialty G19 "Construction and Civil Engineering" (from 2025, before 2025 the admission will be for 194 "Hydrotechnical Construction, Water Engineering, and Water Technologies"), under educational programs: "Hydrotechnical Construction, Water Engineering, and Water Technologies" (1st level, bachelor's level of higher education), "Hydrotechnical Construction" and "Water Engineering and Water Technologies" (2nd level, master's level of higher education), and "Hydrotechnical Construction, Water Engineering, and Water Technologies" (3rd level, educational and scientific, PhD). This is one of the oldest departments of the university, which celebrated its 85th anniversary in 2016. The department received its current name in 2017. For most of its existence, the department was called "Hydrotechnical Structures" andDepartment of Hydrotechnical ConstructionIn 2023, the Department of Hydroinformatics joined the Department of Water Management and Construction, which was in turn established on the basis of the Departments of "Water Management Construction" and "Operation of Hydromelioration Systems."
