On December 15-16, 2025, a kick-off meeting for the Erasmus+ project on Higher Education Capacity Building (CBHE) "Scaled Electronic Document Flow for Universities: Enhancing Efficiency, Autonomy, and European Integration" (SEDWU) was held at the University of Bayreuth (Germany) with the possibility of remote participation.
The main goal of the kick-off meeting was to form a shared vision of the project concept, its objectives, structure, and expected outcomes. The SEDWU project aims to modernize and digitize electronic document flow processes at partner universities, which will contribute to increasing institutional efficiency, management transparency, and alignment with European best practices.
The meeting brought together universities and stakeholders from various countries and served as an important platform for building trust, developing mutual understanding, and aligning strategic approaches within the consortium.
All partner institutions actively participated in the meeting, demonstrating a diversity of approaches and the high relevance of the project for different contexts of higher education. The exchange of ideas confirmed that, despite the differences in national systems, many challenges are common and can be effectively addressed through coordinated joint solutions.
The most important outcome of the meeting was the strengthening of shared responsibility and commitment within the consortium to achieve high-quality results that will facilitate the digital transformation of higher education institutions and their further integration into the European Higher Education Area.
