The Department of Theory and Methodology of Physical Education at the National University of Water Management and Nature Use invites scientific and pedagogical workers, education seekers, employers, representatives of government authorities, and the professional community to participate in the discussion of the draft OPP "Coaching Activities in the Sports of War Veterans" (specialty A7 "Physical Culture and Sports").
The purpose of the discussion: to enhance the content of the program for training master’s students capable of solving current tasks and practical innovative problems in the field of physical culture and sports, particularly in coaching activities in the sports of war veterans.
The project aims to form specialists who possess a comprehensive set of specialized knowledge and professional competencies for carrying out coaching and scientific research activities.
A feature of the program is the combination of psychological support, modern methods of control, and management of training veterans-athletes, taking into account their physical capabilities and adaptation needs to the sports environment.
Key aspects for discussion:
• innovative focus – emphasis on the mastery of modern functional diagnostics methods of the body, technologies for developing motor qualities, and strategies for the development of physical culture.
• practical training – content and organization of production, scientific-pedagogical, and pre-diploma practices based at NUWMP and sports institutions.
• psychological and safety support – inclusion in the program of aspects of psychological support for veterans and skills in providing pre-medical assistance in emergency situations.
• scientific activity – requirements for the completion and public defense of the qualification work as a research or innovative project.
• competency-based approach – the conformity of programmed competencies to the demands of the modern labor market, particularly the ability of graduates to work in sports clubs, rehabilitation centers, and higher education institutions.
