Master's Program in "Physical Therapy"

The Department of Therapy and Rehabilitation of the National University of Water Management and Nature Use announces the start of a public discussion on the educational program project 'Physical Therapy' of the second (master's) level of higher education in the specialty I7 Therapy and Rehabilitation specialization I7.1 Physical Therapy in the field of knowledge I Health Care and Social Security. Qualification: Master of Therapy and Rehabilitation in the specialization I7.1 'Physical Therapy'.
The educational program is developed in accordance with the requirements of the current legislation of Ukraine in the field of higher education, taking into account the Higher Education Standard for the relevant specialty, modern scientific approaches and evidence-based practices in physical therapy, as well as the needs of the health care system and the labor market.
The purpose of the public discussion is to ensure the quality of the educational program by engaging a wide range of stakeholders in its analysis and improvement, particularly regarding:
– the content and structure of the educational program
– the list of educational components
– the program learning outcomes
– the compliance of competencies with modern professional requirements
– the practical training of higher education applicants
The educational program aims to prepare highly qualified specialists in the field of physical therapy who are capable of:
– conducting assessment, planning, and implementing rehabilitation interventions
– applying evidence-based practice principles
– working in multidisciplinary teams
– providing patient-centered care
– implementing modern rehabilitation technologies
Those invited to participate in the discussion include:
– academic and teaching staff
– higher education students
– employers
– graduates
– representatives of the professional community
– other interested parties
