The National University of Water Management and Natural Resources, Department of Medical and Biological Disciplines invites scientific and pedagogical workers, education seekers, employers, representatives of government bodies, and the professional community to participate in a public discussion on the draft educational-professional program 'Biology and Human Health' of the first (bachelor's) level of higher education in the specialty A4 Secondary Education (by subject specialties), subject specialization A4.05 Secondary Education (Biology and Human Health) in the field of knowledge A 'Education'.
Qualification: bachelor of secondary education in the subject specialty 'Secondary Education (Biology and Human Health)'.
The purpose of the public discussion is to improve the content of the educational-professional program taking into account modern trends in education development, health technologies, labor market needs, requirements for the professional activity of biology teachers, as well as principles of academic integrity and ensuring the quality of higher education.
The draft EPP aims to develop in students integral, general and special (professional) competencies in the field of biology and human health, organization of the educational process in general secondary education institutions, implementation of health-saving technologies, and formation of motivation for a healthy lifestyle.
The educational program has been developed considering modern challenges in the field of education and public health, the development of an inclusive educational environment and the implementation of innovative approaches to teaching biology that align with sustainable development goals.
The following aspects of the program are proposed for discussion:
• list and structure of educational components;
• program learning outcomes;
• organization of practical training;
• integration of innovative, health-saving, and digital technologies into the educational process.
